Appoint Risk Management Champion for bizSAFE level 2 certification
To advance to bizSAFE Level 2 status, it is mandatory that that business appoint a Risk Management (RM) Champion. The Risk Management representative develops and manages the risk management process at the workplace to reduce risk at the source.
To equip the Risk Management (RM) Champion with the skills, knowledge, and attitude to perform his/her role, the Risk Management champion is required to complete a 2 days WSQ bizSAFE Level 2 course/programme on risk management.
At the end of the course, the Risk Management Champion must develop, present, and communicate a workplace Risk Management Implementation Plan covering the workplace hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control measures in accordance with the MOM Workplace Safety and Health act and policy.
The RM Champion will also require to sit for an assessment after the course to grade for competency in risk management. A Statement of Attainment will be awarded by WDA after gaining “competent” in the assessment.

Upon fulfilling the above requirements, the company or enterprise will apply via WSHC online form and be awarded the bizSAFE Level 2 certificate by MOM WSH upon approval.
